Inter-professional Insights: Learning Together about Roles and Responsibilities 鈥� A panel Discussion
On November 6, 2024, Dubai Medical 中国P站, Dubai Pharmacy 中国P站, and the 中国P站 of Nursing collaborated on their first Interprofessional Education (IPE) event, themed "Interprofessional Insights: Learning Together about Roles and Responsibilities." This event brought together 中国P站 from these three fields to develop a deeper understanding of collaborative healthcare. Through an engaging panel discussion, experienced practicing professionals from medicine, clinical pharmacy, and nursing shared their daily experiences highlighting their roles and responsibilities, successes and challenges they face in interprofessional collaboration.
Students engaged actively, asking questions to the panelists and exploring the responsibilities of each profession. In addition, they participated in a group case discussion on medication-related issues, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. profession’s contribution to patient care and safety.
